Clive Brady

Clive's radio career started back in 1985 after 8 years DJ work in London. His first radio show with Radio Thamesmead in South East London (Now time FM) where I presented several shows. He also got involved with outside broadcasts from the London marathon and the Danson show in Welling which attracts 30,000 visitors over a weekend in the summer. He next worked for Greenwich Community Radio Meridian where he presented and produced a soul music show and presented outside broadcasts on special event AM licence transmissions.

Clive next approached Londons biggest successful Pirate radio station LWR 92.5 FM and despite the fact that it was pirate radio LWR played non stop soul music 24/7 to a potential audience of millions from 30 mile radius of central London. Working alongside legendary Radio 1 DJ`s Tim Westwood and Pete Tong who were both regulars on the station at that early stage in their careers. He then joined Joy Radio a rival FM pirate station where he presented the weekend breakfast show which he enjoyed a great deal. He even interviewed Page 3 model Samantha Fox and actor Andrew Sachs who played Manuel in TV show Fawlty Towers during the late 80's.

Clive did freelance radio work throughout his career and appeared on Channel 4's Big Breakfast with Mark Little and was in the green room with icelandic pop singer "Bjork". From summer season 2004 he worked from Paphos Cyprus. In 2006 he worked for Fen Radio 107.5 FM a rock station weekend presenter and had a TV appearance on ITV drama "Kingdom" with Stephen Fry. Clive became a regular voice for KLFM in 2007 and did a work assignment with singer John Barrowman on his BBC1 TV series "Tonights the night" in 2009. 2010 he worked freelance for BBC Norfolk and presented drivetime shows at Wayland Radio 107.3 FM until station closed late 2011.

Clive now self produces and self presents his own shows which is networked to 70+ stations so join him when he presents the Global Radio Funk and Soul Show every Saturday from 12pm to 2pm with Classic 70s & 80s old school jazz funk and soul music.
